Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to use the method of vacation in the learning process. This research was conducted in RA. Cut Nyak Dhien Idi Rayeuk. This School Action Research lasted for 3 (three) months starting from September to November in the first semester of the 2010/2011 academic year. The subjects of this study were teachers or RA educators. The implementation of the first cycle of action shows a slight improvement in teacher performance on the effectiveness of learning even though the lecture method is still the most dominantly applied in the learning process. In the implementation of the II cycle action, there is a fairly significant increase. The low quality of learning at RA Cut Nyak Dhien Idi Rayeuk is because learning is still teacher-oriented. After all, teachers do not understand how to learn. So that learning is not optimal, and the potential of students develops to the maximum. Through training in learning methods, the problem of teachers' lack of learning ability can be overcome. Training is the way and process of acquiring learning methods and modeling skills through practice. Equip teachers with the skills and competencies to learn using various learning methods after completing their training. Teacher Learning Method Training RA. Cut Nyak Dhien Idi Rayeuk has been influential in improving teacher performance in managing classroom learning.
